Twitter Blue users will soon be able to try the app’s new holiday widgets with a new set of icons that match seasonal trends. The new icons relate to the seasons and holidays. Icons on the theme of the Kwanzaa festival have also been created.
Application plug-ins are one of the smaller features of Twitter Blue, a $2.99-a-month subscription program that allows the most loyal Twitter users to access a number of additional tweet features, notes NIX Solutions.
The initial offer of Twitter Blue, which became available to Canadian and Australian users back in June, focused on “canceling a tweet” as a key element that allows you to revoke a tweet within 30 seconds of sending, helping to catch any errors.
In addition, many other Twitter Blue options (reading mode, bookmark folders) seemed rather low-level and not very attractive, but then, with the extended launch of the program for users in the US earlier this month, Twitter also added advertising, such as free articles, the most popular articles and additional elements that made it more valuable.
The app’s changeable icons are said to be a smaller part of Twitter Blue’s overall offering, but still some people will like the ability to give their icons a new look, as well as possibly give it a fresh feel in the app lists, says MMR.
These new colorful icons will be available soon, and for $2.99 you can choose the one you like best.
