Mention and Hubspot have released their next annual Instagram Engagement Report 2021. In the course of the study, experts analyzed data from more than 100 million publications on the social network, says NIX Solutions.
Key findings of the report:
- The most engaging Instagram post format in 2021 is carousels. They receive an average of 62 Likes and 5 Comments.
- The optimal description length for maximum engagement is 1000-2000 characters. This suggests that storytelling helps to gain more attention and make posts more authentic.
- The highest engagement rates are for accounts associated with the beauty and cosmetics industry.
