TikTok is testing a new feature – tagging users on videos, which will allow other accounts to be tagged in clips.
The new option is in addition to mentions (via the @ symbol) in the video description, which will save space in the description for hashtags or your text.
Therefore, from the point of view of functionality, this is not a major update, except that the mark will be on the video, and not in the description.
