Social network Instagram, owned by Facebook, has announced the launch of a new feature that can make the feed with new posts virtually endless, reports IXBT.
We are talking about automatically adding recommended posts after the user has finished scrolling through the Instagram feed. Recommended publications include posts from accounts to which the users themselves did not subscribe.
Interestingly, the recommended posts appear after the message that the user has viewed all available new posts. The message about the “ended” feed was presented by Instagram two years ago as a measure to combat Internet addiction among users, notes NIX Solutions.
As the developers explain, the recommended publications are selected based on the content liked by the people the user is following. In fact, the “augmented” feed combines automatic recommendations and ads.
Users can hide recommended posts, but only temporarily. To do this, select the menu above such a publication and select the “Hide” item.
