TikTok is testing a “View History” section to make it easier to find the videos you’ve watched, reports Mashable.
According to reports, TikTok’s browsing history will appear in the app’s settings section and privacy menu. The feature is already available in beta app in Australia, writes iGuides.
It is unknown whether the social network is going to add a new section. TechCrunch contacted TikTok, and the company provided a standard statement that it is “always thinking of new ways to add value to the community and provide a new user experience on TikTok,” but declined to comment further, notes NIX Solutions.
If this happens, then it turns out that the social network borrows the feature of YouTube, where the browsing history is presented in a special section. Moreover, there you can find both large videos and Shorts, analogues of Tiktok.
